Fei-Fei Soong is a respected concert violinist and the assistant director of the California International Music and Art Festival, an annual event held in San Diego, California.  She has played with many of the greatest conductors and orchestras in the most prestigious concert halls in the world . Ms. Soong has performed for the Prime Minister of Australia, and was also a winner of the California Talent Quest Competition and the First Night Hartford Chamber Music Competition for three consecutive years.

A graduate of the renowned Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Fei-Fei performed with the Shanghai Film Symphony playing on countless cinematic scores, and also as a member of the Shen Yang Symphony Orchestra in China.

Ms. Soong believes that anyone can learn to play the violin, and that music is for everyone.  With a passion for education and love of music, the core of her teaching philosophy is a commitment to strengthening the musicality of each student and awakening his or her musical responsiveness.  The goal is the help her student to understand and respond to music, so that each individual progresses in accordance to their own musical ability and pace from an early age, and to assure the maximum growth whether the goal is a professional career or an adult life rich in artistic value.

Many of Fei-Fei’s students have won top prizes in music competitions . She has been on the faculty at prestigious music festivals worldwide, including the Saarburg and Montecito International Music Festivals.
