Sun Wei

Sun Wei is a member of the China Musicians Association and a Piano Grading Judge of the China Music Association. Wei graduated from the Piano department of the Shenyang Conservatory of Music in 1992 as a student under well-respected Professor Xu Luga, Professor Zhu Yafen, and Professor Jinshi. In 2006, he graduated from the Piano Department of the National Gnessin Conservatory of music in Moscow, Russia, studying under Professor M.M. Volgava. In 1992, he worked in the Orchestra Department of Shenyang Conservatory of Music while serving as the director of the art guidance teaching on top of the research section. He is now a piano teacher of the keyboard discipline in the middle school attached to Shenyang Conservatory of Music. Students under his guidance have won awards in the Macao Second Asia- Pacific Youth Piano Competition, the Fifth Shanghai International Youth Piano Competitions, and etc. He himself has also won the Excellent Instructor Award in many various competitions.
