Apply early — Scholarships are offered in the following forms: Fellowships, Junior Fellowships, Need-based and Merit-based.

Available Scholarships

Merit-based Scholarships

  • Submit all items from the General Application checklist
  • One additional letter of recommendation from another teacher or music professional

 

Need-Based Scholarships

  • Submit all items from the General Application checklist
  • One additional letter of recommendation from another teacher or music professional email to registrar@montecitomusicfestival.com
  • A copy of your 2022 or 2023 IRS-1040
  • A letter of explanation of financial need

 

Junior Fellowships & Fellowships

  • $2000 per session fellowships will be offered, two each for violin, viola, cello and piano, and one for bass
  • Ten $500 per session Junior Fellowships will be awarded to Junior or High School students, two each for violin, viola, cello and piano, and one for bass
