Apply early — Scholarships are offered in the following forms: Fellowships, Junior Fellowships, Need-based and Merit-based.

Available Scholarships

Merit-based Scholarships

  • Submit all items from the General Application checklist
  • One additional letter of recommendation from another teacher or music professional
  • All materials must be submitted/postmarked by March 1, 2017

 

Need-Based Scholarships

  • Submit all items from the General Application checklist
  • One additional letter of recommendation from another teacher or music professional
  • A copy of your 2015 or 2016 IRS-1040
  • A letter of explanation of financial need
  • All materials must be submitted/postmarked by March 1, 2017

 

Junior Fellowships & Fellowships

  • Fellowships will be offered, two each for violin, viola, cello and piano, and one for bass
  • Ten $1000 Junior Fellowships will be awarded to Junior or High School students, two each for violin, viola, cello and piano, and one for bass
